Central Park Restaurant

May 19, 2013 in Central Park Restaurant, Chinese Cuisine, Dining Out, Family Style, Food Adventures, Restaurants, Reviews, Where to Eat in Baguio?

No, it’s not the Coffee Shop that the FRIENDS hang out in. This is actually a Chinese Restaurant located in Kisad Road, Baguio City, just in front of Sizzling Plate.

Anyway, “O” and I found ourselves here one rainy evening after our movie date. I was craving for good Congee and he was craving for Fried Rice, and let’s face it, no one does Fried Rice better than the Chinese or Japanese.

So there we were, it was our first visit to the place, contrary to how movies portray Chinese restaurants, this one looked clean enough. Part of the kitchen was seen, so you can see how they prepare your food, however, the part of the kitchen where they wash the plates and utensils is not visible, so I don’t know what goes on there, but I have faith that it’s all good.:|

On to the food then!:D

Seafood Island

March 25, 2013 in Family Style, Filipino Cuisine, Food Adventures, Restaurants, Reviews, Seafood Island, Stroke of Luck, Where to Eat in Baguio?

I am allergic to shrimps and crab {sad, I know.:-<}, but sometimes, risking it is so worth it.:D Which was what I did, when we visited Blackbeard’s Seafood Island Northshore Grill in Camp John Hay Technohub. There are other non-seafood items on the menu, but then that would defeat the purpose of going into a Seafood restaurant now, wouldn’t it?:P

So despite being allergic to some popular types of seafood, I’m willing to take the risk, once in a while.;))

Beggang Resto Grill

October 22, 2012 in Beggang Resto Grill, Comfort Food, Family Style, Filipino Cuisine, Restaurants, Reviews, Where to Eat in Baguio?

Beggang Resto Grill, found in the skating rink of Burnham Park is a family restaurant that serves Filipino cuisine. I find myself in this restaurant whenever our group, the Cordillera Bloggers/Baguio Bloggers Society, holds a meeting because it’s accessible to everyone and because Vince of LakbayBaguio.com (Cordillera Bloggers founder) likes the food they serve. I found myself here once again for dinner with my fellow bloggers one fine night.:)

I have already eaten here once before for lunch, right after the First Baguio Blog Conference, with Kat and Gaby Keith, but did not manage to take photos then.:P Or perhaps I did, but just can’t find them. LOL.:))
