Green Coffee and Weight Loss
May 31, 2012 in Beverages, Coffee, Stroke of Luck
During the First Baguio Blog Conference, my co-host teased me and said that I was not a credible food blogger because I didn’t have the body for it. Somehow, he thinks I should have weighed more.
Understandable since he assumes I eat a lot, which I do, but I am blessed with a fast metabolism so I don’t gain weight that fast. I should say was blessed with a fast metabolism, because lately, it feels that my metabolism has slowed down a lot, the end result, me having a gut, a love handle, a muffin top. ![]()

Okay, so mine isn’t this big yet, but still, it’s not a pretty sight.

It’s actually not a pretty sight, I feel self conscious and I find myself inhaling and holding my breath for photos just so my gut won’t come out in the photos.
It’s hard to believe that I used to have a 24 inch waist line, and now, I am a 27 to 28, 29 if I just ate. ![]()
Recently I’ve seen photos of me where I wasn’t able to inhale and hold my breath, and it was not a pretty sight!
I need to do something before it goes out of hand. I don’t want to lose weight, I’ve been skinny all my life, and frankly, now that I’ve reached my ideal weight, I really don’t want to lose it, but I do want to lose the muffin top.
So, I’ve started on an exercise routine and eat only oats for dinner.
Weekends are an exception of course, because that’s when I go on my Food Adventures for this blog. ![]()
It’s sad to say that after a week of the exercise and oat only diet, I’ve yet to see results and I find myself scouring the internet for ab work outs and such. Apparently, there is no easy way to lose a gut. ![]()
However, as I was browsing the web, I came across articles about coffee aiding in weight loss. I was thrilled, because I love coffee! I breathe and live for coffee, so it was so awesome to read about green coffee extract weight loss articles. According to this article, Green Coffee Bean Extract can aid in faster weight loss, provided that you complement it with a healthy diet and an exercise routine. Now, like I said, I don’t want to lose weight, I just want to lose my muffin top, but if coffee can somehow help me achieve my goal better, I’d love it.

According to studies, the caffeine in the coffee helps create more energy, more energy means people can work out more. I suppose caffeine in Green Coffee Beans are more potent that’s why it’s used for these supplements.
Now all I need to know is that chocolate also aids in weight loss and improves the skin condition and I can probably be laid to rest.
