Hello World!

Finally! I have my very own food blog! I have wanted one since early of last year but I am too cheap to spring for a new domain and I have never been able to catch any domain sales online.

Pehpot decided to giveaway some of her domains, I didn’t expect to win anything from her Dot Com Domain Giveaway, you know how unlucky I am when it comes to random drawings, but I joined and it’s a good thing I did, because I won this awesome baby! It already has a PR0, which is not bad for an unused domain.

B thinks I am crazy of course, I constantly complain about how I need more time to do things and here I am, with a new blog. I think he feels a bit peeved because I haven’t updated our blog. I’m going to do that today so he won’t feel bad.

Anyway, what do you think of my header?:-/

I love it, I think B did a great job.:) He’s still working on my badge, but I know it’ll be just as awesome.

So, what will this blog be about?:-/ It will be about food and drinks B, my kids and I enjoy. I am no gourmet chef, but I can cook. I also love to eat out, eating is a hobby my entire family enjoys and it’s a good thing I have a fast metabolism, otherwise, I’d be obese by now. LOL.:))

I love Rachel Ray and Nigella Lawson^:)^, and my cooking style is based on theirs. I am a busy work at home mom, I not only have a full time job, I also have household chores to do, inasmuch as I would love to spend the day cooking in the kitchen, I can’t, so I have learned to cut my cooking time to 45 minutes or less. I have also learned to cook with what I have. I don’t always remember to get all the ingredients I need for a specific dish, but I am able to find things to replace the missing ingredient and so far it has worked.;))

My motto in the kitchen: If it smells right, it should taste right. LOL.:)) It sounds funny but it’s true, I know my dish is going to taste scrumptious by just smelling it.

I will also offer a few cooking tips I’ve learned from reading and based on my experiences. I’ll also be sharing recipes, I’ve learned through the years, so watch out for that.
