I love Japanese food! :x

SumoSam

So when we were invited by our blogger friends to join them for the Grand Opening of the SumoSam branch here in Baguio City, I did not hesitate and said yes right away. I have been waiting forever for this particular restaurant to open since I saw the tarpaulin in front of the building right beside Starbucks Technohub, that says “Opening Soon”.

On our first visit, we were told that they were still on the “Soft Opening” phase, so some of the items on the menu weren’t available then. I didn’t mind, because they had what I wanted. Haha.

It was a perfect Baguio summer night when we visited SumoSam for the first time, and we opted to sit outside because it was too perfect a night to stay indoors. I immediately fell in love with the place. I just love Japanese cuisine so much.

That night, I ordered the basics from the menu.

Zio’s Pizzeria

June 29, 2012 in Events, Pizza Place, Restaurants, Reviews, Where to Eat in Baguio?, Zio's Pizzeria

If there’s one type of food that I can eat, everyday, without ever tiring of it, it would be a PIZZA. And as luck would have it, my fellow Baguio Bloggers and  I were invited to sample a few of the best sellers at Zio’s Pizzeria one Saturday ago. Open-mouthed smile

I love Pizza! What’s not to love? It’s a full course meal in itself. You literally get a few servings of everything on the food pyramid with just a slice of Pizza. Open-mouthed smile

Zio’s Pizzeria is a Baguio based Pizza joint that was established in 2007. I have tried some of their pizzas before when my brother in law and his wife took home a few boxes of pizza from their branch (Magsaysay Avenue branch) which is just a few blocks away from our house. I think they brought home a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza, I don’t remember what flavor of Pizza they took home that specific night, it was either I was too hungry to care or it just wasn’t a wow moment for me. You know? Smile with tongue out I was hoping that I would be wowed this time around. Open-mouthed smile

So without further ado, let me introduce you to Zio’s Pizzeria’s best pizzas. Smile

My Moulinex Summer Cooking Caravan Experience

May 3, 2012 in Events, Where to Eat in Baguio?

A few weekends back, Chakai and I were lucky enough to be invited as participants to cook with celebrity Chef, Tristan Encarnacion at the Moulinex Summer Cooking Caravan. We had such a blast!

Moulinex is a popular brand of kitchen appliances that makes cooking easier and makes it fun as well. I don’t own any Moulinex appliances yet, but after the caravan, I wanted so very badly to have a hand blender. Smile with tongue out It was truly very handy and would totally look good in my kitchen.
